Introduction
I graduated as a sociologist from the Faculty of Social Sciences at ELTE in 1999 and later earned my PhD degree from the BCE sociology doctoral school in 2010. I started my career as a market researcher for a major corporation, working on advertising and media research at the Origo news portal. After starting my doctoral studies in 2004, I took a position at the Department of Science Policy and Science Analysis at the HAS KIK (Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Library and Information Centre) (http://www.mtakszi.iif.hu/), where I have been working ever since. My main research area is the examination of the career paths of individuals with scientific degrees, and the impact assessment of social science research—I have participated in numerous international and domestic research projects on these and other topics. I frequently work as a consultant on various projects. I have conducted research in the Netherlands, worked as an invited expert in Brussels evaluating H2020 grant applications, and was a research expert for the Ministry of Interior for several years. I started teaching in 2012 at Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary, and then moved to John von Neumann University in 2016, where I teach Social Behaviour, Sociology, and Marketing, the latter on both bachelor's and MBA programs. As a mentor teacher in the Talentum program, a participant in the Competency Portfolio project, and a TDK (Students' Scientific Conference) thesis supervisor, I also consider talent development and remediation close to my heart.
