Péter Burger

Introduction

I have been teaching marketing-related subjects at various universities as a part-time lecturer since 2006, with minor and major interruptions. Teaching is more a passion for me than a profession. Although I graduated as an economist and a business administration teacher from Corvinus University in 2003, I have never worked full-time in education.

I gained my first teaching experience in 2000 at the Károly Keleti Technical College of Economics, and then in 2006, at the invitation of Árpád Papp-Váry, I started teaching in higher education as well, initially at Metropolitan University, where I taught marketing research.

After a long break, I returned to university education in 2024, again at the invitation of Árpád Papp-Váry, this time at the Budapest Business School. I first taught an English-language MBA course at John von Neumann University.

My native language is Hungarian, and I also teach in this language, but due to my professional career, I now prefer teaching in English.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Árpi, who is both my mentor and role model in the field of education.
